I Love You ..... And Her?
What's up everyone? If you're reading this, thank you once again for tuning in to my thoughts. I truly appreciate it. Tonight I kind of want to jump out of the norm, and ask the question, can you love more than one person at the same time? And not like, hey, you're my friend, I care about you, I love you. No, I mean genuine, I love you, I'm in love with you type of feelings, for more than one individual? My answer is, yes you can, and here's why.
As I type this, I'm watching an episode of "The Wonder Years," ( Season 2, Episode 11) where Kevin is trying to figure out if he can possibly like two different girls at once. Kinda ironic that this episode came on as I began to write this. Anyway, I believe that you can genuinely be in love with more than one individual, simple because I feel as if you can't control the way you feel about someone. I've been in this situation before a long, long time ago. In my days, I can remember there being times that I would be interested in some young lady, and have deep, deep feelings for her. But at the same time, holding on to feelings of another woman. At any given time, if the right move was made with either woman, I'd be content settling down forever with that one. I actually believe it's more common in those days when you're dating. When you get to know someone, you can really become attracted to them and gain feelings for them. Not to mention, that in each case, with each woman, there were also emotional ties to them both. I loved them almost equally, and would do anything I could for each one of them. I felt as if it were my duty to protect and take care of them. That kind of thing, at least to me, is genuine love for more than one individual. I felt as if I'd die for either one of those ladies if it came down to it.
What do you all think? Do you think it's at all possible for a person to be in love with two different people at the same time? Let me know what you all think in the comments, and make sure if you're reading this to follow my blog and spread the word to your friends if you enjoy my opinions. Thank you all.
